Conclusion

Global warming is now affecting weather, plants, animals and people. Humans are warming the earth's atmosphere by burning fuels and cutting down forest. If we stop producing CO2 by switching oil, coal, gas to renewable energy, the global warming could stop. Another solution is to plant more trees. Also electricity is one of the main sources of carbon dioxide so using less electricity will produce less CO2. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen which is not a greenhouse gas. If we make the small changes in the way we live, we can avoid global warming problems in the future.

Animals are affected

Animals are essential to maintain the circle of life and the food chain but they are also affected by global warming. It is not just animals but insects, reptiles and sea creatures are affected as well. As global warming getting worse, the animal population is reducing as well because some animals lost their habitat like polar bears. The global warming is melting the glaciers, pushing the polar bears into extinction. The polar bear became the first animal to be added to the Endangered Species Act list of threatened species because of global warming.

Many animals and birds, including penguins or flamingos, they travel long distances to warmer climates for breeding purposes. They have forced to alter their routes for travelling or do not migrate at all because of global warming. The weather is too unstable. Because of failing migrate; they have to compete with other migratory or resident animals for food and shelter. The same thing happened to aquatic mammals that breeding in warm waters. Most of animals' migrating is depending on seasons and seasonal foods but because of global warming, food is not enough for all animals and many animals have died because of climate change and shortage of food. Therefore their food chain is ruined and some animals became extinction.

Weather patterns

Weather patterns are very unstable because of global warming. Rising global temperatures will speed the melting of glaciers and ice and cause ice thaw on rivers or lakes. As oceans temperature getting warmer, it pumps the more energy into storms which making them stronger and more destructive and it becomes more powerful and dangerous hurricanes. Some places are in danger already because of rainstorm. Warmer temperature increases the climate system and it can lead to heavy rainfall. Also the probability of drought is increasing as well and it increases the risk of wildfires.

Scientists say that our warming climate causing more of this extreme weather and it could get much worse if we don't find the solution. The endless of wildfire, drought, floods and rainstorms leaves a death, injury and destruction that ruin communities and damages our health. Some countries are destroyed badly by flooding. Lots of people lost their homes and lives. As more intense rainfall and sea levels rise, flooding will increase and harm. Other countries are in shortage of water as the result of global warming. It affects to food supplies and crops. Frequencies of storms are increasing rapidly as well. The storm surge poses particular risk to low lying coastal cities like Miami and Wilmington.

Sea level rising

The sea level rising which caused by global warming is now causing flood. The warming of the atmosphere caused by greenhouse gases melting the glaciers and rising the sea level.

Sea level is rising rapidly than what scientists are predicted. Warmer temperature is raising the sea level by expanding ocean water, melting mountain glaciers and melting parts of the Greenland ice sheet. Ice is melting worldwide, especially at the earth's pole which includes mountain glaciers and ice sheet.

It could causes flooding of low lying coastal areas and cities such as Egypt, the Netherlands and Bangladesh. Some countries might even disappear completely. Also the islands somewhere like Bahamas,Barbados and Barbuda are in danger because sea levels are raising fast and these islands are very flat. Therefore the flood could cover the island very fast.

Many cities have been destroyed already. In Bangladesh it is almost totally destroyed. Lots of people died and have been forced to move their places to other because of flooding. Sea level rising also can cause saltwater intrusion. It can intrudes into groundwater, drinking supplies and contaminates irrigation supplies. Also low lying coastal areas are very easy to become contamination of freshwater.

Introduction

One of the biggest problems facing the world today is global warming. Our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases heating the atmosphere and this could be very dangerous for human life. Global warming is making hot days hotter and making heavier rainfall and flooding and droughts more severe. There are problems that caused by global warming such as sea level rising, weather patterns and it also effects on animals. We also need to find the way to solve this problem or at least reduce the global warming.

Sea ice melting faster than the scientists predicted before. Methane deposits on the ocean floor and could evaporate and bubble into the atmosphere.
